The Nigerian Peering & Interconnection Forum (ngPIF) 2026 is bringing together network operators, engineers, infrastructure providers, researchers, policymakers and internet practitioners from Nigeria and across Africa.
As we prepare for ngPIF 2026 in Lagos, we are inviting the community to contribute technical talks, practical experiences, research and insights that can help advance Nigeria’s internet infrastructure ecosystem.
Do you have an idea, experience or technical insight to share?
The ngPIF Programme Committee is looking for submissions that explore the technologies, practices, policies and infrastructure shaping how the internet is built, connected and operated across Nigeria and Africa.
Topics of interest include:
- Peering policy and best practices
- IXP operations and development
- Traffic engineering and routing
- Network security for operators
- Capacity building and technical skills
- Internet governance and policy
- Subsea cables and connectivity
- IPv6 deployment and DNS
Whether you have implemented a new network architecture, solved a complex routing or traffic challenge, conducted research, deployed infrastructure, or have practical lessons that other operators can learn from, we want to hear from you.
What can you submit?
There are several ways to contribute to the ngPIF 2026 programme:
Full Talk
30-minute technical presentation, including Q&A.
Lightning Talk
A focused 10-minute presentation with no Q&A.
Panel Seat
Potential participation in a curated panel discussion, selected by the Programme Committee.

What we are looking for
ngPIF is a technical and operator-focused forum. Submissions should provide practical knowledge, technical insight, research findings or lessons that can contribute to the wider internet infrastructure community.
The Call for Papers is vendor-neutral, and commercial pitches or product promotions will not be accepted. Proposals should also be original work and must not have previously been presented elsewhere in an identical form.
At least one named author must be available to present in person in Lagos.
