Dr Krish currently serves as the Regional Executive for West Africa & Morocco at

Africa Data Centres, a key division of Cassava Technologies, the pan-African leader

in digital services and infrastructure. Africa Data Centres plays a crucial role in

driving digital transformation across Africa by providing a vertically integrated

ecosystem of data centres, cloud solutions, and connectivity services. Dr. Krish’s

primary focus is on developing and operating regional and Edge Data Centres to

foster data localisation and support local cloud operators, enabling business

transformation across the region. 

With over three decades of unmatched expertise in the Data Centre, Cloud,

Connectivity, and Managed IT Services industries, Dr. Krishnan is widely regarded

as a pioneer in the field. He holds a distinguished record for building the highest

number of data centres in West Africa, along with extensive experience in managing

cloud hosting and IT services businesses. His leadership has been pivotal in

incubating startups and positioning them as challengers in high-growth markets,

leveraging his deep understanding of business re-engineering and operational

efficiency. 

Dr. Krishnan’s comprehensive business acumen spans the entire business lifecycle,

including strategic planning, end-to-end P&L management, product development,

sales and business development, go-to-market strategies, and the execution of

multi-megawatt data centre projects. He has also been instrumental in-service

delivery, procurement, and the establishment of robust HR, finance, and support

functions. His expertise extends to implementing integrated BSS and OSS

automation systems and leveraging the latest AI trends to optimise business

functions. 

A recipient of multiple prestigious awards, Dr. Krishnan’s contributions to the data

centre industry and the broader ICT sector in Africa have been widely recognised.
