Dr Joseph Ofashi Emeshili is a forward-looking Engineer with keen eyes on the use of modern and emerging technologies to build a new life for society. With Ph.D. and master’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, he cultivated himself to play strategic roles in the industry and working in the regulatory sector, which though is independent, shares more commonality with government has offered him the opportunity to represent Nigeria at international fora and organizations where he has deployed his knowledge for the benefit of his country. He has been working at the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Since 2004 and has grown to the position of an Assistant Director and Head, Spectrum Planning. He is a member of Nigerian Society of Engineers, Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of ICT Engineers (FNIICTE) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (FIEEE) and received several awards with a number of publications in local and international journals.
