Yazid joined ICANN in 2020, where he leads ICANN’s technical engagement efforts across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. In this role, he works closely with a broad range of stakeholders and partners to disseminate and support the adoption of knowledge and capabilities that help strengthen DNS operations, security best practices, and Internet resilience.

Before joining ICANN, Yazid held technical and operational roles at Benin Telecoms and MTN Benin, where he led and coordinated technical teams, building strong experience in telecommunications and network operations, alongside sustained engagement in the global Internet community.

Yazid is based in Cotonou, Benin.
